Summerfield School

Welcome to Summerfield!

Welcome to Summerfield School's Website

We are a two form entry primary school situated in Bradwell Common near Central Milton Keynes.  Our children are taught in small classes from EYFS through to Year 6 and we have a strong team of dedicated and enthusiastic staff working with them across the school.

It is our intention to develop the whole child, helping them to grow as both lifelong learners and proactive, responsible citizens.  As a school community, we celebrate diversity and use people's experiences and strengths to motivate and stimulate.  We recognise that children and adults perform best when they are nurtured, encouraged and valued.

I am proud to lead Summerfield as Headteacher and I hope you find that our developing website gives you a flavour of our achievements and what we have to offer.  We are more than happy to welcome you to our school - please contact us on the details at the top of this page to arrange a visit or to find out more about us.

Best wishes,

Ian

Corona Virus or a Cold?

With the start of School and the start of the Autumn season, we have had lots of sore throats, sneezes and runny noses! The BBC have compiled this helpful guide so you and your family can make an informed decision on whether to get tested. Click here for the guide. There is also a video by the BBC on our Returning in September Covid-19 page.

Please find the NHS Test and Trace letter here regarding when to get a test.

Return to School!

As we start back for the second half of the Autumn Term (Autumn 2) we find ourselves facing another national lockdown. Please can we remind parents/carers to adhere to 2m social distancing at drop-off and collection times. We are also strongly advising that you wear a mask at these times to reduce the risk of infection. Please remember to keep checking our Returning in September (COVID-19) page for any current updates.

Bradwell Common Halloween Trail

What a fantastic Community we have here on Bradwell Common. Huge thanks to our School Governor Michelle Scott who organised the amazing Halloween Trail around the local area. So fantastic was it, that it made it onto the news, BBC Look East!
