SPRING (2) 2022
Children investigated the Great Fire of London. They read Samuel Pepys’ diary and used it to write their own diary pretending that they were him. They also sequenced sentences to write a simple narrative of what happened during the Great Fire of London.
The children made bread during the immersion day and used their 5 senses to write a wonderful poem. They also experimented with colour in art to create dramatic paintings of the Fire of London.
