SPRING (1) 2022
Year Two had a geography based topic called ‘location location’. We discussed the difference between urban and rural areas with human and physical features, comparing cities and the countryside. We also located some countries and capital cities in the UK and Europe.
Our writing focused on retelling the story, ‘Town Mouse and Country Mouse.’ We also wrote a post card.
Maths was all about data, statistics and charts. Children learned how to conduct some research about children’s favoutite things in tally charts, Pictograms and Bar charts.
