Year 4
SPRING (1) 2022
Year 4 have been inspired by our topic this term and we have started recycling and reusing plastic bottles, bags and cups.
Some of the items we made were aprons, bird feeder, rockets, game board, piggy bank and pencil holder. We are extremely proud of our work and would like to continue our crusade of reduce, reuse and recycle.
We have been learning how to use persuasive writing techniques to write newspaper reports and speeches.Our grammar focus included using Alliteration, Facts, Opinions, Emotive Language and Statistics to convince our audience to avoid plastic pollution by making good choices and recycling properly.Next, we really enjoyed using our debating skills to argue for and against using plastic as well as writing ocean poetry.
