School Events

Children get to experience various school events during the academic year...

Our wonderful FOSS Team organised a school event where children could come to school and break the rules.

On Friday 20th March our Year 6 children organised and managed a Marvellous March Market to raise funds for our OPAL play programme to enable us to purchase equipment. The children all did brilliantly and raised a massive £568 for it.

The week before half term, our children tumbled down the rabbit hole for Creative Arts Week, and what an inspiring celebration of imagination it was! Throughout the week, creativity took centre stage as pupils explored new ideas, experimented boldly and let their imaginations run free. Classrooms were filled with storytelling, movement, colour and invention, with every child encouraged to think differently and create with confidence.

A particular highlight was the opportunity to experience the Royal Ballet’s performance of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

This magical production sparked awe and curiosity, giving children a wonderful insight into how music, dance and design come together to tell a story.

We are so proud of the creativity and enthusiasm shown by all our pupils.

We held a Book Fair Poster Competition and these are our winners. They won a voucher to use at the book fair.

2025 Bikeability On-Road Training Course - Year 5/6

We are pleased to announce that we have been loaned some bicycles by MK City Council, which is part of a pledge from Summerfield School to get every child cycling. The idea is that the bicycles will be used during breakfast clubs, after-school clubs, P.E. lessons, OPAL lunchtimes, Bikeability courses – any means that encourages cycling, so brilliant for our children.

If your child is in Year5/6, please do sign-up to the FREE Bikeability course which will start running from Wednesday 19th—Friday 21st November 2025.
