Year 3
AUTUMN 2022
What a fantastic start to Year 3 we have had! We swung into our learning looking at the Amazon Rainforest. Learning about the layers, biome and the importance that the Rainforest has to all of us. We met ‘Augustus the Tiger’ and helped him find his smile in English and used different media to recreate the beautiful ‘Tiger in a tropical storm’ painting by Henri Rousseau.
Autumn 2 saw us flying into foods from around the world, starting with a beautiful banquet. We have explored where our foods come from both around the UK and the entire world. We cooked up a storm making bread and writing our very own recipe to be included in our very own design of a Children’s Recipe book. We have worked our socks off reading, quizzing, adding, subtracting, creating, learning and laughing all the way to our Christmas break. Super work YEAR 3!!!!
